Miscanthus Elephant Grass bedding?

I use it, it is easy to handle, rots quickly and seems fairly absorbant. I prefer Hemp bedding but I thought I would give it a go as it seems a good price.

I use it and have done for many years now. I've tried straw (mine eats it); cardboard (gets heavy when wet); paper (ditto for cardboard); shavings (again, clumpy when damp + smelley); and eventually discovered Miscanthus. I use it on top of rubber matting, and after I've taken out the poo and worst damp bits, I throw the rest up on to the side and replace from the middle out, if that makes sense.

I've also used it for the chickens house & nestboxes, plus the cats tray at the mo' coz I keep forgetting to get cat litter.
