Dear old katie, thats a shame mind you she has had her problems over the years and she must be 15 ish now so chances are that it was just the owner being snsible and making a hard desision. shame though.

i know she coliced badly earlier on in the year hence the owners son didnt event her.

I understand from a friend that knew her that she'd had problems every since she'd had colic surgery & that sadly this had been on the cards for some time.

RIP to a truely fantastic mare. I'll never forget how awesome she was to watch when I saw her at Aldon one year.
