Spent all day yesterday preparing for our first show with our lovely new pony, she travelled in a horse box with previous home, we have a lorry and she needed to turn sideways , had a practise yesterday , went fine but this morning she could'nt grasp the concept of turning and kept slowly reversing down the ramp , she was'nt being naughty and walks on lovely, i did'nt want to stress her out or make my friend late for the show so called it a day after 20 mins, so frustrating , she will go in a box no problem but my car is,nt suitable for towing, Went home and cried felt bad for my daughter who was cleaning tack till 9 last night and was so excited about going. Anyone got any tips on getting them to turn ?.
