Missing item from well known online retailer

Hi, I ordered 3 items from this apparently wonderful but discounts all the time retailer, who has sent everything individually via yodel. I had to collect first item from yodel, 3rd item came successfully, not seen anything relating to 2nd item.
Have emailed 3 times, face booked (another is experiencing same) web form and phoned being promised a call back -nothing missed on my mobile.

I want the item, but don't need this hassle and am not sure what else I can do, it was dispatched on 28th November? So not as if not in stock like another company I ordered from that is a whole mother story?

Any ideas?
 
If it's the one I think it is I ordered a rug for horse and coat for me received an email saying they'd been dispatched. 2 days later rug turns up with a note saying coat to follow that same evening I got an email saying coat is out of stock so cancelling order! Not great have ordered from them before with no issues so I am disappointed not about the coat I only got it cos it was a bargain and I could do with a non smelly waterproof but more with the lack of honesty at the start!
 
I wonder if its the same company I had a similar experience with ??? ordered 3 items, a rug supposedly in stock still hadnt arrived after 2 weeks, after 3 weeks I'm still waiting for a refund, my problems are mainly with Yodel, they wont make a special journey into our village which is off the beaten track for one parcel.....!! the other two items....one I cancelled the order as I got sick of waiting for it and the other arrived via Yodel about 10 days after I placed the order...total waste of time...told them I wouldnt order from them again because of this ridiculous delay and especially if they were using useless couriers.

I know that dosent help you but your not on your own with the frustrations of mail order !!
 
Is it derby house? If so raise any problems on their Facebook page - repeatedly - for any kind of useful response. I feel your pain I ordered 2 items last week neither have arrived yet, and I have had an email saying the girth I ordered wont arrive INTO their warehouse until 5th jan!!! - wish I'd just bought it from my local saddlery rather than online - and paid a £5 for delivery!!
 
Best thing is to contact the supplier and ask that the package with Yodel is returned to them and that they send a replacement by an alternative delivery company. Just be aware that most will be a bit slower than normal at this time of year due to the levels of Internet shopping. This weekend looks like another record breaker

exactly the same here! ordered some boots for my mum, lead rope, hoof pick and some treats for horsey. that was 2 weeks ago. got an email saying one of the treats was out of stock (shouldn't they put this on their website then??).
1 item has come with a note saying the rest is to follow. would be helpful seeing though my mum needs the boots in this weather!
 
Yodel are a joke. They recently "ate opted delivery" to my friend multiple times. She lodged a complaint and had CSs phone and state the driver had said the access was terrible "with ditches on either side of the road" :mad::confused::confused: she only lives 10 minutes out of a major city!!
 
No, it's derby house and they cut me off this morning, think I'm going to charge the credit card back as I bet they will contact me then!

The company that states in stock but then magically isn't is edgemere, but they at least emailed me, but haven't responded to my query, why do you state in stock on your website but now email me to say out of stock (I know the rug was cheap but you took my order! Honor it!)

If anybody is on Facebook, please feel free to add your comments to my post (I have messages as well) one person already has!

Yodel aren't worth bum wipe on loo roll. Useless excuse of a company. I refuse to use any company who use them for what they call "delivery".
 
Yodel are part of the problem as they only have an automated system so I can't talk to anyone, but the fact that we've been to them to collect the first item with the door card things and that was all they gave us, firstly I don't have a reference to check, secondly dh aren't responding

BUT NOW IM REALLY FED UP AS THEY'VE IGNORED MY POST ON FACEBOOK AND PUT A COMMENT ON SOMEONE ELSE'S QUERY, IGNORING ANYONE WITH PROBLEMS.

Wait till I get to a phone, even if they do cut me off again after being in a queue for ages! Btw I haven't at any stage been rude or raised my voice - haven't had a chance!

My issue was with them, not all the items on the website are in stock, they take your money and then you have to wait for them to come back in stock, I complained about this and cancelled the rest of the order that I'd been waiting 2 weeks for and I am still waiting for a refund, but I did tell them on principal I wouldnt order from them again anyway as they were using Yodel who are worse than useless and also complained that if items were not stock it say so on the website....!!
 
Have finally managed to speak to someone, but have to suffer yet another yodel delivery! Yodel have sent the second item back although we collected the first from them and they successfully delivered the third!
So here goes another few days.... No option for snail mail :-(
