Very sadly my JRT has been missing for the past 6 hours. We were walking in the Rooksmoor woods, leading up to Rodborough common when he saw some deer and started chase. I've not seen him since.

Can anyone in the area please keep an eye out for him and spread the word? Our contact details can be found on the national pet register.

Have you reported it to the local dog warden?

Ours headed off the other week and was picked up by the dog warden just over an hour after I reported her missing.

He has been reported missing to the police, dog warden, vets, local dog shelters etc. Been to all the neighbours and let them know he is missing.

So worried he is caught in a snow drift or hurt and now out there on his own in the cold. First time he has done this (although fully aware it is a JRT trait), so very, very worried.

He is also such a friendly, happy dog he would go with anyone. Here's hoping someone hasn't picked him up for them.

Oh I am so pleased to hear this. I was nearly in tears yesterday when I looked at the pic. Reminds me soo much of mine. I honestly dont know what I would do if I were in that situation. So happy for you x
