Missing on Loan H&H article a must read.....

I have read the article, got my horses passports in my name, both are freezemarked and farmkey have them down as mine, linked myself to one on NED and am in the process of linking myself to the other with a foreign passport.

However the one which is microchipped is there a microchip database I need to call to get them to link her to me?

I have also linked my boy to me on NED.Passport and microchip in my name and have full signed/wittnessed reciept.Im getting my boy freezemarked ASAP too.

Its very scary.

I tend to think it is more for lost dogs/cats but perhaps someone else could comment please

Please check on Nedonline that your Freezemark and/or microchip number do bring up your passport.
If these were done as extras after your passport was issued they will need to be entered by you in User Entered details.
Even though my horses were freezemarked before passports were done the information was not in the database--I had to add it.

I called petlog who have my mare on their records. They have temporarily updated her owner details to mine pending receipt of copy of receipt when I bought her which luckily has microchip number on, copy of passport page with microchip number on and £15 one off fee. I also said I will send them a copy of the ownership page on the passport as the receipt is from the owner after the one who had her microchipped!
