Missing poss Stolen dog in Essex

Whilst at work this morning the owner of a beautiful doberman with long tail came to ask of anyone had seen his dog he is actually from Chelmsford although he came as far as Elmstead Market by Colchester as there was supposed to be a sighting of him.
He's a tall full tailed doberman answering to the name of Bodie he is very affectionate and is dearly missed by the whole family including other dobbies...

Their is a large reward for the return of this much loved dog.

Please do! I know the stress of a missing dog. Unfortunately, my experience with the dog wardens of that area wasn't positive.

The site administrators are really helpful, and will advise what to do - I think the key thing is to contact the dog wardens, rescues & police (I get the feeling they don't talk to each other), and some site members are helpers and will actively participate in search parties, postering etc.
If the dog has been stolen, the owner must make him too hot to handle.

I think the key thing is to poster all over the area with pictures, get a facebook page set up, get onto the local paper and see if they'll run an article, and also contact the Council to ask whether they've picked picked up the dog from the highway (hopefully not)
