Instead of opening tonnes of threads about Missy,I have decided to just do one and update it daily with pictures and videos :)
Today is exactly one month after Missy arrived so a good day to start this I think! :biggrin3:

Diary day 1:
Missy came straight down to us this morning. Us being me and mum. Now this doesn't sound exciting but she wouldn't come near anyone four weeks ago and she wouldn't come near anyone other than me last week so this is another big step. She's also happy to have her muzzle stroked and to eat when we're stood right next to her. She's going into a stable in 2 - 4 weeks so the vet will be coming out to do various tests and to vaccinate her! Here's some photo's from this morning :biggrin3:

Oh wow she looks lovely! It is great that she has the confidence and trust in you to eat while you are there :)
Lovely looking pony! :)

Lovely looking pony! :)

Thank you! I figured people were getting sick of me posting new threads so i'll just do one dedicated to her :biggrin3:
She's starting to get floofy though!

Mollie is getting really fluffy now too. :)

Missy's a lovely looking girl and it's great that she's settled so well and is gaining confidence with people already. :)

I'll take a pic or two of Mollie when it's stopped pouring with rain, she looks like a drowned rat today. :D

All Mollie's fieldmates are now rugged but she's a tough old girl (and a bit fat :redface3:) with a mean mummy so she's out naked. ;)

Haha, well Missy is also out naked if that's any help :biggrin3:

Many congrats on your progress with the gorgeous little lady!

If she is out in a head collar for now perhaps worth investing in a field safe one - they are available for not too many pennies.

I would rather she was out without a headcollar but I can't get near her enough to take it off or swap one yet. She'll be stabled soon so i'll take it off as soon as I can :)
Thank you :biggrin3:

You sound to be doing really well. Lovely looking pony, I look forward to your updates.

My two 2 year olds are out without rugs and starting to get very fluffy, and summer coats falling out fast.

They are quite happy to be in the stables when required now having been really nervous at first. Giving them a small bucket Feed each day inside has really helped with progress.

I think she'll prefer being inside xx

She's such a little sweetie and lovely markings too! :)

My mares getting really fluffy as well and by the look of todays weather, think we bypassed Autumn straight to winter! ;)

I'm so glad you are back to being positive :) I look forward to the Missy updates. It's amazing how much Lucy loves her stable, she didn't want to come out in the wind and rain this morning but jeez you'd think she'd be used to it as she hasn't been in previously.

Link didn't show sadly :(

Aw, I can't wait to see her in a nice, warm stable :biggrin3: - I bet she's drenched now it's just chucked it down!! I think we should have a floofy pony thread in a few weeks :)

Today I caught Missy laying down and dozing - first time i've ever seen her fully relaxed. I got a video and a picture but she managed to get up before I got the picture

She's also getting more confident and today came straight to me and proceeded to graze by my feet when I sat in the field!! :biggrin3:
