What’s best? Would it be better using something as prevention rather than wait til he has them?
We have a big grass mite issue in my horses fields, the poor things get bitten to death all summer, so it’s a pretty safe bet they will prey on poor little cecil. He comes poo picking so is out in the long grass every day. I’ve not really had to worry about it will Jess collie because she once got zapped on electric fencing and even though theses fields don’t have it she refuses to go anywhere near! She never gets ticks either but I guess he will.
He’s back for more jabs in a week (sadly the breeders first wasn’t compatible with my vets ?‍♀️) so I can run it all past him but the horses are looking a bit itchy already so figure sooner rather than later might be good!
Will something like frontline spot on help?
