Darco had RI & vet out to see her.

Poor girl has suspected feather mites, I wasn't at yard yesterday but she had done some stomping in her field and digging... Off to buy a horse ball tomoz I think! So we got those treated, she also had the most horrendous teeth  and ulcers, so those have been treated.

Unfortunately, right fore has some swelling (expected really after fracture) so pasture rest for another month, she's also 50kgs overweight! (me too so that had better be a joint adventure) and to all those who pointed out pigeon toed... Yes quite right she is.

She got jabbed, stabbed, I filled out 2 forms, she got poked, lights shone in her eyes, trotted up and down in heat against her will, measured, laughed at a little bit, but she was so lovely, beautifully behaved, all the way through, despite being in season!!

RI LOVES her, thinks I made a very good choice, napping is defo down to laziness and work avoidance (moot point for now anyway) at the end of her trying mare out, mare RAN to me for kisses and fuss so I think bond is coming along really well!

Totally pointless thread really, but put a helluva grin on my face today! :D :D :D
