The pig oil and sulphur really works, but remember to protect or take off any gold jewllery, my gold bracelet is now more of a bronze colour after yesterday, and before now a white gold ring has gone black! it does return. It's a messy job,but my boy really does get itchy and this really helps
My boy suffered terribly with mites constantly stamping his feet. The vet suggested an injection so, although a bit dubious, I had the injection done and it worked brilliantly no stamping for the last three weeks
I'm starting a course of Global Herbs Foot Stamp tomorrow, you have to use it for a week. The local rep has kindly given me a bottle to try (we are a potential new retail customer for them).
Our heavy traditional cob stamps and scratches, it's gradually getting worse as the weather's warming up. If it doesn't work, I'm going to use Frontline spray on him, I've posted asking about it on here before and many people seemed to have a positive response to it, and I really want to relieve the poor lad, he's rubbed himself raw today just where a fillet string would sit above the hocks - but he is living out naked so he's found something else to scratch on. http://www.globalherbs.co.uk/horse/2004_pages/skin_condition.htm#Footstamp
Camrose works brilliantly on mites (sorry I have recommended Camrosa so many times - I don't work for them!!! Just think it works really well for all sorts of things!)
