Has anyone had their horse's sarcoids treated with mitomycin injections? If so, where was the sarcoid, how many times was it injected and what was the outcome?
Hi, after a course of injections, (success for 18 months)and 2 ops ( the first more successful than the second) to remove sarcoid by his eye, as there was little skin to stitch if it returned, my vet suggested trying Silver Nitrate pen. They are used for warts and can be got at chemists. Faffy to do, involves Vaseline and patience, tiny steps if you know what I mean.
