Hello!
We do our first prelim dressage soon and I was wondering if you have an opinion on if its ok to switch between sitting and rising trot throughout the test?
I find it easier to keep my mare actively going forward in rising, so we both look better, however across the diagonals she powers out beautifully, but I can only get this if I sit... also we strike off in canter more smoothly if I've been sitting for a while rather than just a few beats...
Is it ok to mix and match our trotting style or shall I stick to rising?
