Mixed Emotions - My Stallion Has Gone.... :(

Patches you could be my twin. That is exactly the same question I asked myself just this morning. The answer quite categorically and without a shadow of a doubt would be - I would keep Ezzy. I will never sell Ezzy and I adore him more than Oscar however I haven't ridden him much as he is not backed yet and he is way too bony to ride around for too long bareback.

Oh yeh, Cheerleader is WAY better than a Vet - I have always harboured dreams of being a cheerleader, I blame american TV!!!

I'm still lobbying for an Easter trip up to see them all! Was on your site the other day and couldn't beleive there were more that I hadn't even heard of to meet!

Oh goody!! Might be another by the time you come up here for Easter!

I know, and they aren't all on there either. And then there are all the boarding ones you haven't met either.

Eeek. Sounds like you need padded underwear! lol

It just hit me as I was reading your post. I know you're fond of Oscar, but the only two horses I have ever heard you talk about with any deep affection (dare I call it love) are obviously Cloud and Ezzy.

I just know you'd never be able to part with him. I only said the other day that most of the horses you buy would be someone's idea of a "horse of a lifetime". I reasoned that you'd doubtless be able to find another Oscar to rival your affections. However, I had over looked Ezzy's impending gelding.

So now it's struck me....you already have your horse of a lifetime, Tia, and Oscar isn't him!

I assume you have a list of suitably easter-like names ready? If it hasn't arrived by then I am not banking on too much sleep - I'll bring plenty of chocolate with me to keep vigil with!!!! My friend's daughter was a nightmare when their foal went overdue - I kept getting 'we think the foal is coming' phone calls in the middle of the night from the daughter. Needless to say the mare foaled during the day between box checks and not at any point that I was standing there in my PJs.....

Only one dog ate them, the big black dog, and she took about 20 minutes to rip and tear them apart. She was munching away and it was quite interesting to see inside them
