My gelding was always out with other geldings and I had no problems with him until I moved yards in December. He is now out with a mare and two geldings. I am waiting to move him as he has become totally obsessed with the mare - and keeps the other geldings away risking injuring himself to defend her. They are totally in love with one another (I don't think he has done any mounting) and its caused problems as they shriek to each other all the time, he wont tolerate being groomed in the grooming box away from the indoor barn and has been really naughty in the school. Some of it I have put down to change of yard and a problem with haylage but I think he is really stressed as he worries about her all the time.
