I want to go trailblazer showjumping this weekend and have the choice of Milton Keynes or Lordsbridge. Any one got any thoughts on either venue? Both are the same distance from me so can't decide! Thanks

I've only been to Lordsbridge once and that was indoors and was definitely very unimpressed. Very small arena and dank and dark small warm up. But this was about 3 yrs ago. Haven't ever been to MK.

Lordsbridge - small arena, tiny lorry park, frankly absurd size warm up arena, surface has seen better days. Good cafe, quick and efficient running and nice jumps.

MKEC - low celing, well run, good size lorry park, opportunity to go XC schooling after, no cafe....

I haven't been to Lordsbridge but MK is quite nice.
It's a bit tight and I agree with the above, wouldn't want to jump more than 3ft.
I have managed ok there on a horse (as opposed to pony) but I don't go for it in the jump-offs as the turns are tight.

They did harrow the warm-up every couple of classes which I thought was good.

They most certainly do have a cafe on the end of the indoor school

MK - been there sj once, indoor was v tight but we managed (16.1 horse). On the day that we went, they had v few entries so we nearly missed our class.

Lordsbridge - used to go there all the time. Warm-up is extremely tight on a really odd surface that makes the horse feel unsure of their footing. Nice jumps, indoor surface jumps v flat. Parking is a pain in the a**e. Toilets - it's tricky to get one that has both paper & a lock on the door...

We tend to go to Manor Farm instead now.
