To cut a long story short, we are going to go thru the full planning process for our yard so that we can put it where we want it. So....meanwhile, for this winter, I need to pop up some mobile shelters/stables for my horses and pet sheep. Any recommendations for reasonably priced shelters? any experience of good/bad companies? we will probably only move them once thereafter, so I am not too bothered about metal skids etc - wooden sleds are fine.

Thanks for your help!

i've had the Clydesdale ones (very good and solid, very big strong metal skids) and now have the Graham Pluess ones (flimsier skids, but basically very good shelters. can't fault them, really. had 3 of each, for a number of years, so a pretty good test!

Lloyd Acre stables are fab and I have recommended them to two other people who have bought them too. I have had my double one for 3 years now and it is brill...one for the horse and one for his hay!
I would recommend you get kick strips on the bottom entrance to the doors though as they are wood and my boy was kicking seven bells out of them as he could not be bothered to pick his feet up going in and out!
They are a good price too and service is great.

If you are going for planning get your surveyor to ask the local planners about mobile field shelters as some (not all) demand that one applies for planning for them. Get the planners to put it in writing just in case. You most certainly don't want to wind up the planners prior to getting your planning permission.
