Have the opportunity for one of these secondhand, but will have to dismantle myself
and transport. Does anyone know if they are easy to get down and re erect? I do mean myself as have no handy bloke to help!

it depends how it's fixed together, and how many pieces the frame breaks down into, which obv depends on the manufacturer...
if it's bolted, great, just undo the bolts with a big wrench, tap them through with a hammer. have WD40 in case any are rusted or stuck.
if it's nailed together (hope not!) you have a much bigger job! crowbars, hammers etc will be necessary, and getting bent nails out is a bit of a knack.
it might be a good idea to look locally for 'man with a van' advertisements, because parts of it will probably be very heavy/awkward. not worth doing your back in for the sake of paying someone to help.

Just done a search on the forum (which I should have thought of doing in the first place!) lots of posts. Im kind of thinking it will be too much for me, but dont want to pass up a bargain! Got to make a quick decision.Had been cogitating on investigating one for the future, perhaps I shouldnt rush into it ! Have to find out if its bolted together. Ive never been any good at Ikea furniture so maybe its not such a good idea.
