If our house purchase goes thru.....fingers toes etc crossed....we will need to purchase a mobile field shelter asap as no buildings at all on the land, as yet.... and need somewhere to lock up small fat black pony etc.....

So, any suggestions on good suppliers/bad suppliers/things to watch out for etc etc. I think that, as I want to use the shelter long term as a field shelter (funnily enough!) for horses and/or my sheep, that it makes sense to get a bigger one with 2 openings - any experience of these, anyone?

Thanks!

Catherine

Lloydsacre Stables...brilliant service, quality and cheaper than Redmires of the world! They came and put it all together and it has been fantastic for my larger black fat pony!!! I use mine as stabling throughout the year as have nothing else on the land and can have nothing permanent as I rent the field. I put rubber matting on the bottom and shavings as a normal bed. I got a double one that could either have barn type doors or stable doors and store my hay in the spare one.
Whatever you go for I would recommend you get the bottom kick strip over the door way as it is finished in wood and my horse was knocking seven bells out of it every time he walked in and out!

There is a company on Ebay that offers loads of different ones and all sorts of budgets.

I don't know how good they are, as I have never used them. But, they do look fairly good.

national stables. have had two from them in the last year as have two of my friends. Excellent service, really reliable, great guys who came to put it up. Super quality also.
