Just found out my new horse (arriving on friday from Ireland) has been measured by my vet(out in Ireland) at 16.2hh at rising 4, and that his dam is 17hh at 3 years old ! Sire is 15.2hh cob. Vet says he would expect him to go up by about another hand as he is still croup high.
The pictures I received of him made him look about 15.2hh, still I guees at 5`8", I wont be over horsed.
Last horse was ID/TB by Knockboy Hero 16.3hh at rising 4, 17.2 at 7years old.
How big did your horses grow?

This is good!! Oscar is 2 WB*TB) and 15hh...I am so curious to know what he will make (not hyjacking but any guesses?!) I'm glad yr kept growing! I'm 5 foot 10 so am hoping he will make at least 16hh?!! :)

Urs is gonna be huge!!! :D

My shire x TB was 14'2hh at just 2 years old, hes now 17hh.

My Welsh D x, was 13hh a 1yr old, according to the bredding to make about 14hh, he made 15hh, he was out of a 13hh heavy cob (mega loads of feather) and a 14'2hh section D mare, his full brother is only 13'3hh.

I think Oscar is gonna be huge too, TB can be big, and WB got plenty of bone.
I just realised will have to sell my trailer!

Here he is - he is 16.2 hh and in a muddy bog!
