I'm so relieved and feel I need to share my excitement with you!!

We've finally got enough stable room for the amount of horses that we have as our new Mobile Stable turned up today.

We wanted a well built but moveable stable (as we rent where we are and aren't able to build/wouldn't want to pay that much) and the Chappies at Vale Stables arrived today at lunchtime, 2 hours later the bits of wood in their trailer turned into a fantastic stable, that they have even temporarily bolted to the floor to prevent Molly (our big mare) from walking off with it.

They did exactly what was promised, were really tidy and have left me with a really useable stable - so thanks guys - I'm a happy customer!!

They came up with the best cost too!! So if anyone is looking for a stable/shelter in the wood variety, I would recommend them highly.

Brill! I know the feeling because I too rent a field and was allowed to put a mobile stable up by the kind farmer I rent from. So I have a double stable on skids...one for horse and one for his hay...it is the best investment I made and it has now paid itself back in 3 winters of previous stable renting costs I was paying. It has been great and I put rubber mats in mine and use it as a stable all year with shavings bed and my horse is very happy!

Just a query as I have thought of buying one of these - do you put a base down when you are planning on parking them in one spot? I don't mean concrete but some compacted scalpings or similar?

We are really lucky because there was already a base laid. The lady up the road from us just has hers on the grass and has had it in the same place for about 8 months, hers is just dry compacted mud inside where the grass has died and she has kept it as clean and dry as possible- quite muddy on the entrance though (her pony is only 12hh in a 12x12 box!)
You can put them basically on anything, but prefrebly level - if you give Martin at Vale Stables a call he would probably give you some advice on whats best 07837650697

Hope this helps you?
