Mobility Stable Lick Refill - Any good?

Horrible stuff, it reeks of sugar and goes gooey in about five seconds. I put mine in a bucket and ended up chucking it away as it just got everywhere, have yet to steam it off the bucket as it's made such a mess. I have no idea if it did anything for my horse though except make her mucky! A right pain to get sugar stains off a grey horse's chin as well!

Oh dear....Don't really understand, is it just a solid lick in a box? and what is that liquid for...to pour in or something?

No idea what the liquid is for!
It was a solid lump of sugar in a box. Was given it as my friend's horse sniffed it and didn't want it, so I gave it to mine who loved it. As it was so sugary I only gave it to her for 5 mins a day but it made so much sticky mess I had to get rid!

Have already got one of those, but just wondering whether she is lacking vitamins in her diet, because she gets a pretty basic feed.

mine has salt lick along with rest of yard and they love them. yet at old yard, got him one and would not touch it - try it, lickits are messy, guey and not much good for them, can also make them hyper - salt lick is better

I got one for Chex last year, he loves them! I didn't see any difference in his joints, but he scoffed it at first then got bored and didn't eat it much after about a fortnight. I'm trying to get him to lose weight now, so he's not been given once this year! I would prefer to use a proper supplement, probably more expensive though.

Ive got a mini one of the horslyx licks, and its soooo messy i put it in a bucket for a treat or to keep him quite. hes brown but he then wipes it all on me! Try a likit pasture lick, hes got one and its keeping him occupied as i wanted all vits and mins too. he also has a rock salt like as they rectangular licks are full of additives like table salt is

this was my experience. My horse went nuts for hers (was just the regular one) but got bored of it within about 4 days and it went horrid and goey.

I currently 'share' it around the the yard buy-and-sell ponies at the moment and they all seem to adore it for a bit then get sick of it and ignore it.

Mine love these. Ive given them the mobility and the respiratory ones - they go nuts over them! To the point, I wouldnt dare leave the licks out. Literally, I have to put it out so they all get a lick for 10 mins then I have to put it away or they'll have the lot in one go.

Ive always bought the refills, put them over an aga upside down in a big plastic tub I had (so it melts into the tub). This way, I have made a respiratory and mobility lick in one!

TBH, I didnt notice a difference - but they do love them. Just watch greys.... their noses go VERY VERY brown and sticky...
