Has anyone successfully done this?

Have been trying to think up a way I could slow my good doer down. She would currently get through at least a haybar and a half of hay given half a chance.

Could also do with something to stop my TB emptying the contents of his out into his stable

I don't want to go down the hay net route if I can avoid it!

Any ideas?

Errmmm, unless you could somehow put a haynet inside the haybar (tied down with rings) I can't really think of anything else!! They'd still have to tug at it though :/ that was very un-useful sorry!!

Small holed, large haynet.
Two small holes in side of hay bar in an accessible place, probably about half way down.
Tie haynet inside the haybar by threading the rope through the holes and back inside to tie off safely.
My friend uses a version of this with big heavy field tubs and it works very well.

Yes, I did get a bit nerdy about hay feeding methods a while back!
