ok, so not a big issue but it's so irritating - my pony's mane sticks up like a mohican and won't lay flat. it's relatively long but still won't lay flat..any tips on getting an unruly mane back under control?
also, any tips on getting a huuuuge amount of mane to regrow after a lycra hood rubbing it. megatek - yes? no?

Hi Fayeg1
So hoping for a lot of replies as my mare looks like a Zebra!! its about 5 inches high and I just cannot get it to lay down. She was fully hogged when I bought her in Oct but I want her mane back... I've tried putting in plaits but they will not stay in, and so tricky to do my arms were just about falling off after about 6 plaits.

cassie's mane hasn't been hogged, its just badly behaved :o lol.
and about the crest plait, due to her mane being rubbed away so badly, i couldn't do that the whole way down but i suppose i could attempt to do the top bit.

MegaTek - works on my hair in making it longer and stronger.

The weight of the plait tends to bring the mane down.

sorry to hijack the thread but how much stronger does it make your hair? does it reduce split ends from excessive OCD like straightening like i do? :o

Argh! Len's does this! Except it lays forward towards his crest rather than up. It's pulled, not as short as some, but fairly short I suppose, but I can't get the darn thing the lay down as opposed to forward! :o:(:D

It may be too thick to lay down, I'd be tempted to thin it and see if that helped. Otherwise, maybe it's just the phase its in as it's growing out, my hair's curly until it grows past my shoulders, then it's almost dead straight. If it's that, it needs more length and thickness to weight it down, so whether you pull to make it thinner so it flattens or let it grow longer and heavier depends on whether you need to plait it or not.
