Does anyone have any that they can recommend? I have seen horselyx comes in a small tub but I think they are sugar ladden which is a hard no. Can't use carrots or any other smaller treats as horse cheats on his stretches so this way I can keep him entertained to either hold the stretch and/or deter cheating (he will grab the treat as fast as he can and cant stop him from cheating).

Oh yes and has to be able to be held in 1 hand as I need the other hand to pull his tail (chiro has given us very specific stretches to do!)

Mine like the herballs from Hilton herbs, which are molasses free.

The spillers meadow herb treats are the best I've found for stretch type activities, but I think they do have molasses in.

I do use the global herbs generally (as well as carrots) but they are too small - horse tries to eat my hand already with them...not purposely but would rather not chance my fingers being chomped.

Spillers does have molasses and Hilton herbs has alfalfa. 2 things he cant have plus they are also small.

How big are you thinking? The spillers are large and carrot-hard (rather than crumbly), which makes them a good target for stretching. Appreciate that the ingredients don't suit, but wondering if you might be looking for something longer than most treats if you think the spillers are too small...?

ETA: would a swede tempt him? They are not very grab-able

Ohh a swede could work. Was thinking something like a likit or horselyx lick but they are sugary

Horse Herbs or Horse Straights Direct.

I like the Horse Herbs bars.
Will have a look!

I buy a 20kg bag of thuderbrooks hay cobs. Same size nut as the Baileys Fibre Nuggets that lots of people use but they're just herbs and alpine grasses. All the horses LOVE them.

Likit do a low sugar Granola based option, GranoLo.

Could buy the 400g refill, keep it in the tub and hold that in your hand?

Edit: I also remembered the Horseware Nutrilicks years ago, they were sugar free but they don't make them anymore. Not entirely surprised as even my greediest of ponies at the time wouldn't touch them lol
