Molasses lick- with added vitamins, minerals and er... BOLTS?

YO bought this yesterday- found it like this earlier today!


Have offered to write an email on her behalf- I figure the least they can do is send a replacement! I know this sort of thing could happen to anything but it's really quite scary! Thank god it was so embedded that the horse couldn't have swallowed it- though I know a few horses that like to bite chunks out of their licks!

Anyone have any suggestions as to structure the email so that I don't sound too a*sey but still get the point across that this just isn't acceptable?

Horses shouldn't be fed sugars or starches in hard feed. If you only get laminitis feeding this crap you're lucky.

It's liking giving a toddler massive amounts of sugar . . . when Kal has had molasses he has wanted to crawl out of his own skin . . . not just "hot" but very, very unhappy and stressed. Awful stuff for some horses.
