Just to say how FANTASTIC they are. Excellent gold standard customer service,good products and priced well. :D I don't have any connection with the company other than I am a customer. I get things mail order and they even source me things which aren't on the web site so definitely worth an email if there's anything you want. I just wish they would take over our local agri/equestrian suppliers who are nowhere near as good.
 
Love Mole valley farmers - we don't have any near us, but we holiday near South Molton each year where they have a massive one so we always pop in!! Really ace store - I was struck last year by how cool their massive pink wheelbarrows were, and how well priced they were compared to the boring green one I got nearer to home!
 
I buy from them on the internet and would also highly recommend them. Great prices and fast delivery. I've never had any problems. Well done Mole Valley Farmers!
 
whilst they are not too bad for horse stuff I use them as agricultural merchants and I don't find them that brilliant. Their stock control is poor. Frequently they don't have the basics in stock. Tractor filters for just about the most common make of tractor, plumbing and drain fittings, a few fencing stakes etc. Just about the basic of farm stuff. Stock control on feeds etc is often poor with shavings etc being out of stock.
It seems they have just about every make of yuppie jacket in stock but not the basics.
 
I'm another internet customer and can't praise them highly enough! Last order placed late at night, phone call 9am next morning to discuss order (wormers) and delivered next day.
 
I,m with paddy you can,t be shopping in our branches where we joke when we see an advert for staff , we reword it If you are miserable, unhelpfull, have not got a clue please apply!!!! Even our farmer rep commented on how miserable the shop staff are.

He he he, that implies your branch has staff! In ours we have to look quite hard for them at times. Especially at the till or when you need bags of feed loading! LOL
 
Love mole valley farmers online but their stores are called scatts in the south east, which are a bit hit and miss and Def short staffed!
 
mvf and scats merged a few years ago.

I think in the past they have been lucky that despite not the best of service/stock control (I have always found if you know who to ask .. or as past employee hunt for it in the store yourself!) their prices and the lack of local competition has probably meant that they get away with it.

Maybe will just order off interweb in the future :D
 
There customer service is fabulous. I said this on here last November December time and they rang me and said thank you. I was so impressed!! They obviously recognised my order/name etc
 
I visit my local (ish) store regularly and have to say they have always been great. Have never used the online service but after reading good reports would not hesitate as would save me a trip in the car :)
