Hello all :)

I'm going to look at a horse for sale on Saturday at Molineux "competition and livery yard" (as they are called on their website). Usually I'd avoid things being sold by someone who is more of a dealer, but I really liked the look of this guy, so rang up.

Just wondering whether anyone has any experiences of them, good or bad?

This is the chap himself http://www.horsedeals.co.uk/horses-...-the-Farmer--15-2hh--8yrs-geld__5-4-13-476655
:D

This is only the third ever horse I have bought (and the first I had on loan for several months first), plus the last time I bought a pony I was 14 (now 24), so it's the first time I've had to do it on my own. So it's a bit scary!

My first pony was with them for some time - I didn't buy him from them but the people I bought him from did (if that makes sense?). I had the owner of the molineux yard on Facebook already and when she saw the pics go up of catchie when I first got him she contacted me to let me know she had had him, sent me old photos, contacted some of his old owners for more info about him for me etc.

So although I havnt bought anything directly from there, have had really good experiences :)

I just went on their website to see a grey Polish WB mare for sale with the following quote:

'This little lady is a dressage superstar, working easily elementary level at home with some established medium movements, including piaffe and tempi changes.'

Tempi's and piaffe are not medium movements and take a long time to master...

I'd just be careful with what they said on the advert for Barry The Farmer is true.

Thanks for the replies :)

I'm going to see if I can get a friend from N Yorks to come with me as otherwise I don't have anyone to take with me.

Digitalangel- will send you a PM!
edit: can't send you a pm, apparently you're out of storage space! Could you tell me a bit more about him please? :)
