Friend used it, or rather her OH picked some up for her ( he had no idea lol, just got one of the cheapest! ) I think the sugar content drove her gelding up the wall, why you would want to feed something thats over 18% sugar I have no idea!

It's straw covered in loads and loads off molasses, I personally wouldn't feed that much sugar. U can provide vits/mins in a far nicer way

I mean the "extra" brand not the normal mollichaff.

Extra yes, honestly it's straw and sugar with vits/mins the normal has no vits/mins

If you want energy and weight then youmight be better off with Alfa A Oil, at least it has no molasses

personally wouldnt touch it, i used it the first summer i had taz, i had the bag for 2 weeks it went mouldy because of the heat, and now one of my friends uses it because its cheap and goes far, but its just covered in sugar and molases, i dont see why any one would want to use it

I wont feed mollichaff at all as there is too much sugar in it. Hubby bought some and the horses didnt seem to like it.
