I have a 21 year old 14.2hh arab x welsh mare. I have been told she has had lammi in the past. At the moment she is fed 3/4 scoop of readigrass, 1/4 scoop of pony nuts and 1/4 scoop of speedibeet twice a day with one haynet of haylage at night (she lives out 24/7 with minimal grass). She is fine condition wise but i was wondering if hoofkind would be ok to give her instead of readigrass and nuts? Would this give her the vits and mins she needs?
She is a spooky mare so the less energy the better!
P.s she is just coming back into work (hacking) after the winter off.
Thoughts please and thanks in advance

Sorry, can't help hun, but my porky veteran Section D does very very well on speedibeet and Mollichaff Veteran Chaff. I have found their feed helpline very good so maybe run your concerns past them and see what they say?

I've used Hoofkind since it first came on the market. My ponies love it. They've never had laminitis, and I don't want them to get it so like to feed something I know is 'safe'. It smells lovely too!
