So far we have established she loves toys, any toys but especially squeaky ones! I have got to try and work on her reactive issues with other dogs on the lead - that is her only real 'flaw' as it were as she is quite scared I think. Am hoping spending time with my parent's dogs out on walks etc will help her with this as well.

Any one like to take any guesses to what breed(s) tyere may be in there as I have no clue although am guessing terrier something!!!

arh she is really lovely, what a lovely expression she has.

I think Manchester terrier too, bit of dobie? cannot see collie though,

What ever she is she really is beautiful. Well done and congratulations x

Awww she's lovely :) I think she maybe a Rottie x Collie? Definately got Collie in her I would say her face looks very broad a bit like a Rottie but could possibly be a Staffie? My sister has a ColliexStaffie and she looks very similar.

Also you say she's reactive with other dogs it maybe that she wasn't socialised as a pup maybe you could take her to dog training classes? Explain to the trainer about her issue i'm sure they would be able to help you work through it with her. Me and my OH took our Japanese Akita to puppy training as we didn't want to end up with an uncontrollable dog and the trainers were amazing.

Really worth while and its a nice safe environment if she did kick off. One of my friends rescued a Rottie and he has similar issues he was just petrified of other dogs, she took him to dog training for a while and now he's fab he just wants to play with every dog he meets! lol

Thanks. She has been very good so far considering it's her first day. She's a bit bonkers in some ways - very playful, which is good. She was a bit nervy of my dad as he came round to fix my door earlier so that was interesting to see - think her previous owner was rather heavy handed with her so she's rather suspicious of men sadly. She is reactive as she's scared - when she's off the lead she's actually ok as has met my parents dogs and it was all play when she's off the lead. Obviously though she won't be off the lead for a while with me yet. I have bought her a training lead today and she was much better walking on that this afternoon than she was this morning on the short lead.

The kennels said the behaviour has really just escalated being in the stressful environment of the kennels so I am hoping, given she's only 9 mths old it'll be easier to rectify. I intend to take her to some training classes once she's settled in a bit to help her learn how to socialise better and how to 'meet' dogs when she's on the lead. Essentially she's scared but I don't want that to turn in to aggression.

Lovely looking girl! :D

No comment on which breeds might be lurking within - I'm hopeless at that sort of thing! But I'll say it again - she's a lovely girl! :D

I personally think she's mongrel x mongrel! Lol. She has a hairy tummy though and huge bat like ears so she's taken odd traits from whatever breeds are in there!

She's very odd, she crashes out then wakes up and comes over to you desperate for attention, whimpering and trying to crawl on to your lap. It's like she can't believe there's still people around and then she gets dead excited as if she's so pleased about it and crashes out again!

Thats quite sad. Hope she goes through the night having a nice long dream about all her adventures, and doesn't get up to mischief!

Walking tomorrow afternoon? Could do same walk as today...

KELPIE - when r u starting agility training?!!

Funny you say that as I said that last night as she was staring intently at me for her ball! She had a very kelpie look on her face.

Littlemisslauren - the rug is from Next, it is not the largest one, in hindsight I should have got the next size up.

Weird.. I have her absolute TWIN in my kennels atm, 9month bitch also called Molly, also a nervous barker with other dogs! My Molly is a kelpie x collie. Fancy two?! :D
What area are you in? Wondering if theyre litter mates!

Now that is rather strange! We're in Leeds but not sure where she came from originally. Don't think i could cope with two of them no - she's already decided i am not allowed to go anywhere without her!

She's lovely :)

Thanks. She's just so desperate for attention though and I am doing my best to ignore her a lot of the time until she's calm. Same with the barking, she gets wound up and barks. It's hard to ignore that though!! Think some training classes are in order once she's settled.
