Further to my last post about surfaces I was wondering what surface is considered the best. I will have to decide which surface I'll be getting for my school but want to now if money was no object what surface would you have?

i would want rubber with fibre sand mixed in!

Its all good having a 'competition' surface at home, but they aren't very good for their joints as there is no give in them.

I think for home one of the best options is rubber and fibre sand

We have sand / rubber mix but theres a yard near here that has rubber mesh stuff - quite weird looking but stays totally flat and constant - no deep bits anywhere. It's fab to ride on. Can't for the life of me remember what its called though - sorry!

Whatever the surface is at Somerford Park on the huge outdoor, dont know what its called but we call it the carpet school because it literally has old bits of carpet in it! The horses seem to love it and its just fab to ride on
