Monmouth pics are up! (most amusing cover pic!)

Cheers guys - just thought these should be in gallery, sorry. Ponio looks most amusing in all of them to me as he has suddenly learnt to fold his front feet and you can almost see the brain cells working out why he is having to actually put a little bit of effort in now!

PMSL - go back a week or two and refresh your memory with that vid from Goring, then tell me that! The pony is very scopey but also very stupid so needs to stay at Novice until he learns I know best, and I am petrified by Novice SJ at the best of times, so will be riding at Novice, ooo, forever!

Thankyou! I certainly did - took all the long routes with the aim of getting round in one piece without parting company! TBH that pimple was a bit too close to the fence I fell off at at Goring for me to want to attempt the direct route! I have vowed to return next year and jump the direct routes though, it's such a fab event!

I think that you are not at all petrified- I think that you think you are but deep down you know you can do it easily !

You see, its all in your body language and compusure over those fences, thats how I can tell. You look as though your doing a 2 foot course!
But do understand about ponio needing to learn not to do things HIS way!

LOL, mostly I just force myself by either being there with LEC and refusing to wimp out as I am too stubborn, or thinking of having to text her and so refusing to wimp out! Actually, tell the truth I am fine once I am in the ring, it's waiting to go in that makes me scared! Once I am actually cantering round I am ok! I have now lost the feeling of wanting to vomit half way round the SJ, which is an improvement! I am also helped by having a horse who would try any fence I think, makes my life a lot easier, and I am lucky to have him, he makes me look a hell of a lot better than I really am....

Love the first pic! Your pics are really good (brave you doing the Novice!) but was really disappointed with my pics quite honestly - they are OK, but just really boring again

There were MUCH more interesting fences in the PN course than the wretched train to photograph people over!
