Hi all
Quick question about monoflap saddle fitting. I recently purchased a dressage monoflap for my pony. The fit is OK though with the current flocking I need a front riser to help with the saddle balance. The pony goes well in and and the fit generally seems OK. Long term in will try get the flocking adjusted to avoid using the riser. My concern is that there is a relatively big gap between the point the flocking ends and where the flap begins its contact with the ponies side. Its like the fairfax saddles underneath where the flocking is fairly bulky but missing the underside flap. The saddle is not bridging at all and all of the flocked base eof the saddle its sitting flush to the ponies back but I am wondering if this is normal for a monoflap? I've never used a monoflap before so I'm not sure if this is normal or not. I don't think it would create a pressure point I'm just used to looking at dual flap saddles !
