Month away

Cv-19 has resulted in my work looking at introducing long term home working. Great for me as I commute 50 mins each way. I live 3.5 hours from family and with horses etc I dont get to see them much. My husband is a teacher and I’ve just contemplated I could spend a month there next summer if we sort ourselves out now. I wouldnt leave horses (I have 3) for that long but family have 4 acres by where could stay and I could graze them there. Am I mad shifting them that far for a month? I’d have to get them transported I guess. I only ride one of the 3 too. On a plus where we would stay (family has a little cabin we would use) is only a 15 minute hack to the beach.

Sounds great, but would you have problems with too lush grazing when you return home? Maybe borrow some sheep if so?

We have 6 sheep and about to “rescue” another 6 male lambs so we should be ok. A neighbour could keep an eye on them. I’m getting my head round it I think.

Yes go for it. I was house sitting and working for my old boss extra for 2 weeks. So I brought my horse with me as easier than going back and forwards. He didn’t mind a bit.
