I have been pondering over these a little while now.....

Those of you that have used them.......... are they really worth the £37 inc postage or not?

If they are, I will not hesitate any longer and order a pair straight away....
but having never seen them in the flesh and being £37 - when you can get a normal pair for £6 inc postage - I do not want to waste £31 (thats a lot of feed/hay etc!)

Your help is very much appreciated!

I use a dually halter on my youngster with a normal lunge line. Still does the job for me

No idea what is so special about Monty's lunge lines

But I shall just stick with the cheaper option

I use the dually halter just with normal long lines and it does the job for me. I would say they are way too overpriced, i know someone who has them and they are just alot softer than normal long lines that is all

I have a pair, there nice BUT the clips are big meaning you cannot pass the clips through rings on a roller for instence. It annoys me!!
If i could buy again i would buy the one's Richard Maxwells sells as the clips on those are smaller.

Longlines are a must for me as i do a lot of it & when your lining 17hh+ horses the length of the lines helps when you asking for the horse to change direction. I hate Duallys so wont use them!!

They are weighted and tubular, which makes them much more pleasurable to use than rubbishy lunge lines. I like them but I am surprised that they haven't been made with a clip to attach them at the tail end. I have mine attached with tie-wraps.

The ones we flog are flat soft webbing, not tubular. Don't think MRI make tubular ones anymore

They are weighted are the ends which is better for controlling the line. However if you already have two lunge lines I would question the necessity

I hope dad isn't reading this.....

personally they are nothing to shout about. it is great for lunging on two reins or for the longer horses but i find them extremly thick and akward. (as i hate things dragging behind) aslo if dont use if you plan to wear boots with velco straps as they get stuck on them.
