Sent an email to natural horsemanship re obtaining a picture / video from a uk tour which I attended together with a friend. Both our horses were used in the live evening demo, although I wanted to obtain a picture / video of my friends horse as an xmas present for her. Received a reply asking for a payment of £65 but informed that only the owner of the horse could request this. Without seeing the footage before payment I am a bit wary, as I know our horse used in the demo was not very successful, due to time constraints & stubberness our lad was not very co-operative but our friends horse was a real performer and was used in the finale. Has anyone else purchased their owners video? or purchased a still photgraph? help much appreciated Thank you.

I had to wait a long time to get mine, Tarquin was a proper little performer and chosen to do the evening session for ILPH back in October 08, I was promised the DVD of it on the night and I pestered them constantly for 3 months, money was talked about and I pointed out I had given them my permission to use my horse so the least they could do was give me the footage. It came from America in the end and was well worth the fight - Do not pay them £65 for it. I paid for the postage that was it. You need to pester them a lot though

I think you mean Intelligent Horsemanship and I agree, the least they could do is give you a free video after you let them use your horse. I think the situation was for mutual benefit don't you?

So they use your friends horses for the Demo to promote their horsemanship. You have the cost of taking said horses to the Demo etc. And they want to charge you £65 for the videos? That's outrageous. I'm shocked they don't provide this by way of a thank you full stop, let alone charge for the privilege.

I like a lot of IH and the work that they do. But that smacks of rip off to me.
