Problem is hes chewing my neighbours fence!

He has plenty of chews and toys to take his teething pains out on but seems to have took a real liking to the fence.

Any suggestions what i can put on it to stop him doing it?

Thanks in advance

What age is he?

Bones are good, or you could try stuffing a kong.
My bitch is nearly 2.5yrs and she will have a chew on the fence if she is bored.

Tell him off if you catch him at it. Does he leave the kitty poo alone now?

Bitter bite spray

Also make sure you are randomly offering him new pacifiers, so he does not get bored, dont leave his chews lying around, place them in a box and offer him a new one to take out in the garden to chew, then when u bring him in, bring the remainder(if any) of the chew in, then next time offer him a new one

He is coming 9 months. He leaves the cat litter alone now he then got very intrested in dog poo but he soon learnt that was a big no.

There is chews, toys in garden to play with and he goes out with the two collies who usually have him running around like mad.

I do tend to leave the same toys and chews in garden so will swap them and not leave remainds in garden.

Will try a kong aswell he hasnt had one of them before.

He never really tends to do it when im around i have caught him doing it a few times and told him off.

He can be a right pain for other people who he knows he can get away with things with. My brother and mum was back late thursday and had gone to bed. He let him out when he came in and must have left him out for 5 mins came back to let him in and there was big hole in fence. But i had let him out for same amount of time for few times before then and he hadnt touched the fence.

Will try and get something to put on the fence so it doesnt taste as tempting. Will buy lots new chews and swap them when he goes in and out and hopefully if it is just that he is bored he will stop it. Think will invest in a kong aswell can imagine that would keep him busy for ages!

He should be over actual teething by nine months, by a long shot.

As you say, chopping and changing. Toys do not belong to him, they belong to you and you let him play with them, it is a treat not a right. When you place a high value on toys, they seem more exciting than things like...wood!
