Hi,
Over the past few weeks I have noticed my usually kind natured mare getting more and more stroppy! For e.g when grooming her tickly bits when she would have just put her ears back for a second she is now trying to eat me alive!!!
Nothing has changed with her routine and I have made sure she is warm enough and not hungry (she is a TB ex-racer)
I spoke to her previous owner last night who said she does tend to get like this at this time of year and the vet gave her a herbal remedy last yr which worked well but cost an absolute fortune!!
Anyone have any experience of this 'SAD' like syndrome or can recomend any good suppliments etc?
