Moorlands Totilas Record Breaking Kur

Ive just gone round showing everyone in my family it!!

it was incredable, was sit with my mate who went to windsor with me on thursday, even our boyfriends were impressed!!

Watched his first 89% test on Horse and Country TV online gave me goosebumps - the 90% incredible - even my non-horsey parents thought it fantastic
 
It wasn't just Totilas that's so amazing - loads of people were riding personal bests. Only a few years ago people scoring 74% would have got a medal.Now it seems you have to have 80%. Why where these scores going crazy at windsor? Its not really feasible that every single horse had found peak form exactly the same weekend - life is not like that. Were the judges simply getting carrried away because Totilas is so awesome? Was it anything to do with the surface - this one was Ecotrack and as far as I know that surface is not used at any of the foreign shows? I guess we will find out at the next major show in a different place with a different set of judges.
 
Totilas got 84% for his team test, 83% for the GP Special, and 90% for the Kur - no 89%. He is a wonder horse, especially at only nine. But I do think some well-known combinations got better marks than they deserved, which makes me wonder if judges even at this level can't help marking who, as well as what, they are watching.
 
I went to Windsor Saturday night and all of them were amazing. Tortilas was spectacular.
I usually go and watch SJ but decided on a change and was so pleased to have witnessed this.
