We have someone like that locally, who has been discussed on here a few times. In the place of the OP on MSE, I would anonomously forward the negative feedback to the EC and tell anyone I knew who might be going or who might spread the word. I doubt I would do anything else.
There is always the possibility that it's all nonsense of course, would be interesting to know what part of the world this is in.
