Morbid subject contains *warning* death

It's obviously upsetting to watch but seems to be well run and quick. Like others have said the horses seem calm and not ill treated and the place looks clean.

Probably a silly question but when they "lift" them by the hind legs and some of them appeared to kick out, is that just a spasm ?!

After watching some of the other horse slaughter videos on there, Potters looks so humane, the horses look happy, all munching away, least they are took in one at a time, handled calmly and with dignity, and bang, its all over, nice to see the blood swept away before the next one as well,

The vid just shows a pro doing his job, If animal aid had their way and potters was closed down these broken down animals would go from market to market until they dropped dead... There HAS to be an outlet, not everyone can afford/wants to have their horse cremated, mine will be PTS at home when the time comes, but I don't want the ashes back - it's personal choice. These so called animal activist groups are actually a danger to welfare it's self.....

Yes. I chopped the head off a snake with a shovel and its body was still wriggling around for some time later, particularly if we touched it (which of course we did!). The nerves take a little longer to die, but as they are no longer attached to the brain, nothing is "felt".

Looked very professional, I had no concerns watching it, all the horses were killed in a very humane way and none of them looked stressed beforehand. I wish they had places like this in Canada, it would solve a lot of cruelty in IMO.
