It continued to be a remarkably successful weekend for British competitors. As well as Libby Soley with Noble Springbok and the team winning the European Pony Eventing Golds; Zoe Adams and James Smith winning Individual Gold & Bronze in the European Pony SJ Champs; Sarah Howe won Individual Bronze in the World Pony Driving Singles; Nick Skelton earned €100,117.65 for winning the Estoril GP (Global Champions Tour) and Robert Smith was 3rd with Ronaldo, and Michael Whitaker won the concluding class of the show with Insul Tech Quidame des Hayettes; and in the World Para Equestrian, Sophie Christiansen and Lee Pearson took Gold in the Freestyle and Nicola Tustain Silver, in their respective categories.

As you say, what a remarkable week of results forBritish equestrianism. Let's hope it continues into next week for the RIHS and in particular fridays Superleague !

Yes, indeed he did - in my haste, I omitted him. There were also Silver & Bronze medals for other Brits.

I've just been catching up with results from Falsterbo CSIO where James Davenport was competing as an individual (I believe he's based there at present) and saw the following:
1) LAYLOCK'S MIRAMAX
James DAVENPORT (GBR)

0.00 26.45

Thinking, gosh he's got another new horse, I looked more carefully and saw that it was a rabbit jumping class!

Sarah Howe won Individual Bronze in the World Pony Driving Singles

[/ QUOTE ] What a fantastic result for Sara - and very highly deserved too! Of course, I am sure the fact that she has a top farrier helps as well
