Meet Alfie.
She's a 6 year old lab. Currently with me as my brothers circumstances changed and he couldn't find anywhere that would let him rent with a dog.

I seriously underestimated the shedding ability of a lab...like OMG.
I now understand why my parents insisted ours were outside dogs. Not for me though she was an apartment dog until now so she's indoors for life.

Have a furminator,and my hoovers still struggling lol...I got spoilt with my low seasonal shed dog!

She is however impeccably well behaved...So far.isnt actually fat for a lab which was a surprise and has settled in as if she was always here.

Lucky dog to have you to take her, there will be a lot that are not so lucky

She is beautiful, think your brother's lost his dog. The shedding blade I bought for the ponies works equally well on my dog, she GSDx so has the thick, fluffy undercoat.

Be grateful she is not a yellow lab, they shed twice as much as a black. Info from numerous lab owners who have had all 3 colours

The plan is she will go back to my brother when he's in a better situation....But she's family so has a home with me either way. She's a good dog Harder work and higher energy then a Lappie though!
