Mattilda, there is one where I can't see his gums & I spent about 5 minutes working out which end was which but I can't find the pic on my comp.
He sleeps in the oddest positions imaginable
grin.gif

NN; Not sure we can put up with another Spaniel but after him chewing my favourite pair of ballet pumps this morning, I'll leave him tied up outside my front door tomorrow & you can take him!

To be fair, it was my fault for leaving my pumps around in his reach & I suppose the teeth marks give them that 'lived in' look

He is completely adorable. It is very hard to remain cross with him when he's been naughty but it's vital he never finds out he can get away with things by looking cute. He would take complete advantage otherwise

I love the ones of him by my boots. He has a real puppy look to his face on those
grin.gif

My Irish Setters always slept in strange positions too! He is just gorgeous

Sooooooooooooooo cute!!!

I agree with Donklet
smile.gif
- our setter always slept in the oddest positions!! When she was fully grown and had all her feathers it would look as if you had an orangutang in your sitting room!!

Other thing to look out for as he grows up - drinking out of loos
crazy.gif
- we never put blue/bleach blocks in ours!! Open fires - will stand with head up chimney until feathers are singeing!!
blush.gif
If he is as food thief they are very sneaky and very quick so almost impossible to stop - but you still love them as they are gorgeous!!

Slinky; The toilet door downstairs is a firedoor & therefore, always shut & the upstairs bathrooms are the same (one is en-suite as well) & neither of the dogs are allowed upstairs so that's not a problem.

We are not lucky enough to have an open fire so the risk of him setting his head alight is completely impossible. Thankfully

As for thieving food, he is naughty with that & when we first had, he would snatch it off your plate. A few hard smacks on the bottom & being sent to his bed soon got the message through. He is in the habit lately of standing on his hindlegs & seeing what is available to steal off of the kitchen work tops. Again, he gets a smakc on his bum & sent to bed when he is caught. We've also stopped leaving any uncovered food on the top so he has no temptation to steal.

Having said that, I did catch him licking out the frying pan last night. Whilst it was in the washing up bowl
crazy.gif

He is gettng better with stealing food but because he is so gangly & tall, it is easy to forget he is only coming up to four months old so considering his age, he is very good indeed
grin.gif

Yep thats it!!
smile.gif
Counter surfing is their speciality!!
wink.gif
Ours on her hind legs was the same height as me (5'6") so nothing was safe!! For years after she had gone everyone automatically put food on the high shelves and in cupboards etc etc She was caught eating out of saucepans on the back of the hob, could open the fridge - shall I go on??!!!
wink.gif
grin.gif

My aunt breeds them (ours was one of her puppies) and even in a litter some steal and some don't but the ones who do are buggers and never stop!! Ours would be curled up asleep in her bed and you could leave the kitchen for a minute to do something and come back and the food would be missing and the dog back in her bed asleep like she had never moved!! And to lull you into a false sense of security she wouldn't do it all the time so you were never sure and couldn't let your guard down.......
