My horse started headshaking about 2 months ago at the same time as having a cough which has been successfully treated with Ventipulmin, sputulosin and steriod inhaler.

The strange thing is that he does not do it when ridden, thankfully, and much less when eating.

I have ordered some Nostrilvet for him. Has anyone tried it and if so has it been beneficial.

Also has anyone tried the allergy products from Natural Horse Supplies.

Finally any other ideas? The nosenet makes no difference.

Hi, I tried Nostril vet and it really didn't make any difference. I think pollen is a major trigger factor in my horses headshaking and I have found putting him on Cetirizine antihistamines and using sodium eyedrops has helped him no end.
