Just been out on my pony with my friend on her horse and he was very naughty indeed. I have started lunging him before I ride as he has started getting a bit over excited recently. This so far has worked but not tonight!! We walked up the field and he was good as gold, turned round and walked back absolute angel. My nerves have been getting the better of me so I went on ahead a bit and trotted he was fine. Had a little canter on my own fine. Joined my friend to canter back uo the field together and he started bucking and squealing obviously very excited. Now I'm at a loss as what to do about him and I'm finding it is starting to un-nerve me a bit. I would add that he has lost a lot of weight recently which i guess is a contributing factor. Any suggestions gratefully received, thanks for getting this far xx
