Well done and don't go beating yourself up over the SJ, he is a huge horse and young too, I feel he has loads more to come, will be exciting watching both your progress

Though sounds like HH is having a King William blip (sounds better like that!) You haven't been playing the dvd to him have you!?

Time my Dear time. Then one day his little pea will just click as if to say "Oh this is what you ment! I get it now, it's easy!" And you will both not look back!

Sorry crystal ball does not say when this will happen has it has a crack in it & the batteries a flashing!
 
Kept a keen eye on the CIC** at Brigstock as I walked the I, and there were some pretty serious cumulative questions going on - what a fabulously clever and honest horse (humungahorse then) to jump it all so well - shame about the SJ but sure it will all fall into place with time / strength (in the mean time I am sure a decent size pimms post SJ will keep the competitive/frustrating gremlins at bay!!!). And moreso well done you, so strong and gutsy post Isleham to be out, with large horse, CIC** after just one Int run. So, big pat on back for you, and on nose for large horse
 
Don't beat yourself up, HH is a superstar and he will get there (as you well know) I guess like us all, we just feel crap when it doesn't go the way we want, then we start to analyse and over analyse and make it a whole lot worse.

Thanks deskbound, it certainly asked enough and there were more experienced horses than HH that fell by the wayside. I have a feeling in my bones that he'll get there

wizoz - I didn't feel as crap about it as I thought I would, and even the very public aspect of it didn't get to me so much. I'll have v broad shoulders and thick skin by the time he does get it sorted.
