opinions on the fit of these please?! i’m thinking size 2 for her left, size 1 for her right - the 2 came off a little bit too easily for my liking and i think we’d lose it🤣

Just to confuse things, I'd probably go for 2. The gap at the front looks better. It's not meant to be wider at the top of the gap than the bottom, it should be the same when they are done up (they are tighter when you have the front straps on).

These were apparently too small, according to the lady at Hoof Bootique. Mine ended up with a size 11 and even they were snug on her bulbs when done up. If you email the photos, the retailer will advise.

You can buy longer straps if needed. I fitted Scoots to a tricky hoof shape with help, via photo's, from ScootBoots.com. The UK Retailer wanted me to go up a size to narrow the front gap, but the overall boot didn't fit so well. It would have pulled off in heavy going. We went with the ScootBoot recommendation of down a size, larger front gap but with longer front straps. This is on a driving horse and I use Mud Straps for off road driving. He's a big moving Sports Horse. When in longer distance road work, I use endurance gaiters behind and pad wrap the rear strap in front. As his hooves have changed over time, I've heat stretched the rear strap a tad, cos they can rub in heavy work. They don't rub until they do and it can be messy! We've only pulled one once in heavy going. Great sandals that stand up to heavy work!
