Some weeks ago I mentioned about some horse riders letting the horses foul on the pavements. It's happened again. Outside the Mill Lane Post Office is a pile of horse's dung on the pavement. This is disgusting. Also, I wonder what a horse rider was doing with a horse on the pavement, the same as those others. It's dangerous for any horses to be on the pavements because if a horse gets spooked, a horse could kick or trample on a pedestrian or pedestrians. The horse riders have no business having the horses on the pavements and most of all, they have no business letting the horses foul on the pavements.

I went to one of the shops down Mill Lane and while it was dark, I almost stepped in the horses dung and it would have gone all up one of my trainers and up one of my trouser legs.

If any of the horse riders are reading this, please stop doing this because it is very unpleasant and worse for anyone that steps in it in the dark.

DiNozzo. Whining? Here we go, here we go! Troll time, it's troll time! I wasn't whining I was only saying and I have every right seeing that I almost stepped in that horse's crap while it was dark. I suggest you go to a fight forum seeing that you are only interested in fighting.

scats. I thought whoever did it might not be here, however, I thought it was worth mentioning. At the same time I wanted other to know this problem is still going on. Some people might not even care. They would if they step in the horse's dung.

Darren clearly no one should have their horse on the pavement unless it’s too dangerous to remain on the road for a moment or two, and even then common courtesy would say to dismount and kick it onto the road. I doubt many would disagree, however the point raised above is that it would have more impact to post this on a local community page as the likelihood of anyone on here having a clue where you’re talking about is slim to none. I don’t think anyone was trying to start an argument.

Where is Mill Lane, can you be a bit more specific, there are hundreds of Mill Lane's in the UK.
Edit Just seen its Portislade.

Darren since all you post about is dung on a pavement where you live and this is the second thread you've started on exactly the same issue when you've been given advice how this can be handled better, I've reported this thread and asked for your account to be shut.

We all agreed with you last time that it's wrong to leave dung on a pavement , and it isn't fair of you to harangue us on this forum for this when none of us are responsible or even live near the culprit and many not even in the UK.

Just when we thought it was safe to get back in the water pavement.

Seriously though Darren, much as we love talking to you, (and we do all agree the dung should not be there) you need to start a discussion in your local paper, or maybe send a letter round to your local livery stables. Or dare I suggest you hop & curse & then get on with life, like anyone else would. The streets are not your responsibility. You must have bigger things to worry about?

The first rule of fight forum is we don't talk about fight forum.

I'm not sure helpfully signposting you to the failure of your approach really qualifies as fighting.

Darren, please speak to someone about this, I don't mean the problem; speak to someone about your reaction to it and why you think this is making you so angry.

But we can’t do anything about it so I’m not sure why mentioning it to a load of unconnected people is going to do anything?

If you’re looking for a fight about horses on pavements, you won’t get it here. The majority of people on this forum are decent individuals who agree that horses shouldn’t be on pavements, so you really don’t need to try and light that fire.

And some well-meaning advice.
Darren, love - if you join another forum etc, please use a random name - just look around & call yourself something that doesn't connect back to you, like "TheLeavesAreFalling" or "GrannyHadFloweryCurtains".

Posts don't disappear. There may come a time when you want to move on & not have your new boss or new girlfriend able to see everything you said and did for the last 20 years.

If you use your real name and date of birth, use the same name on numerous social media outlets, give your full address when you write to the paper etc it makes you vulnerable.

Since you gave your age, I can say you were around before the internet. You will find your local library, or church will have lessons in on-line security. You might make some nice friends there too.

We're all a bit immune to stepping in dung on this forum!

In all seriousness please post on a local forum or speak to your parish council. Most riders avoid pavements so its either a one off or if it's a regular issue there it might be because the road isn't safe.
